LastPass Password Sharing (folder sharing)
ASCO LastPass policy requires that Passwords be shared using Shared Folders.
You can create a new Folder by opening your Vault and hovering over the “+” in the bottom-right corner of the page, then clicking Add Folder.

Give the Folder a name and click Save to create the Folder.

You can add the Password you want to share to the Folder you created by clicking the “+” in the bottom-right corner to Add Item.

Select Password from the menu that pops up.

Fill in the fields for the Password you would like to share and then select the Folder you created from the Folder dropdown menu. Click Save to create the Password.

Either search for the folder you created by name in the Search My Vault search bar at the top of the page or, scroll down the All Items list to find the Folder you created. Right-click the Folder name and select Share.

Click Create on the Convert to Shared Folder box that pops up.

Now that your Folder has been converted to a Shared Folder, click the Sharing Center link in the bottom-left corner of the page.

Use the Search My Shared Folders search bar at the top of the page or, scroll down to find your new Shared Folder. It will have the name you created but with “Shared-“ added to the front of the folder name. In this example, the Shared Folder name is “Shared-Example Folder”. Click the Manage button on your Shared Folder to manage the sharing settings.

Use the Invite Users or Groups search bar to invite users to the Shared Folder. ASCO users can be searched by name or email address and more than one internal user can be added. For recipients outside ASCO, enter their email address into the Invite Users or Groups search bar and click Invite.
