StratusLIVE Dashboard Quick Sheet
StratusLIVE offers several means of compiling or discovering information in the database, one of which is the dashboard. A dashboard is a form designed to convey information in summarized form and yet also allow real-time analysis of some or all of the underlying detail data. The user may expand/collapse icons in the body of a report frame to investigate the supporting detail data.
Dashboards are an easy way to surface data from the system – eliminating the need to go to the Advanced Find area and remember which entity the data is pulling from. It is also the approach that Conquer Cancer will take to standardize reporting across the Foundation. It will be the mechanism for ensuring that all staff pull official data consistently.
-
Dashboards are built using Advanced Finds
-
Dashboards can be “Personal” or Shared with others.
-
If you share a dashboard, the underlying Advanced Find(s) must be shared with those individuals as well.
-
If data is summarized in a dashboard view, you can always drill down into the data.
-
From the drill down, you can filter the columns in the details view
Click on “Dashboards” to show all the Dashboards available. There are out-of-the-box dashboards and Conquer Cancer developed dashboards.
Some dashboards are presented as charts; however, you can still access the detail behind the chart.
You can drill down even further by clicking on a column in the chart. Or you can use the filter in the detail to modify the chart.
